The greatest player in the history of the Washington Senators and perhaps the greatest pitcher of all-time, Walter Johnson dominated the first quarter century of baseball with his amazing fastball. Johnson led Washington to its only World Series win in 1924. He amassed 417 wins in his 21 year career, with a career ERA of 2.17. Walter Johnson was elected to the Hall Of Fame in 1936.
