Most recently, Pratt played the quirky romantic role of Jennifer in the independent feature film The Mallory Effect, which made its world premiere at the 2002 Slamdance Film Festival.
In 1998, after appearing in a two-part episode of Xena: Warrior Princess as Cyane, Queen of the Amazons, Pratt was spotted by the producers and cast in the leading role of Sarge, the futuristic soldier girl in the action-adventure series Cleopatra 2525. She has also starred in the HBO film Blacktop, a psychological thriller in which she played the charismatic and unforgettable Charlie opposite Meatloaf and Lochlyn Munro (Scary Movie).
Pratt?s breakout role came as the hard-nosed female Mafia boss Jackie Janczyk on the Canadian series John Woo?s Once A Thief. Since then, she has starred as a marine in Aaron Spelling and Mark Frost?s pilot Forbidden Island; co-starred as a foreign correspondent opposite Rod Steiger and David Hasselhoff in the political thriller Legacy; and guest-starred as a concubine in Francis Ford Coppola?s series First Wave for the Sci Fi Channel.
Pratt was born in Ontario, Canada, and graduated summa cum laude from York University. While working in York University?s Human Performance Lab, she tested professional athletes from the Toronto Maple Leafs, Winnipeg Jets and the San Jose Sharks. A student of martial arts for seven years, she has also made a series of exercise videos and is co-author of several fitness books.
