The National Basketball Association's franchise based in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA, the Jazz were founded in 1974. They played in New Orleans until 1979, when they moved to Utah. Although they have not won an NBA Championship, the Jazz won back-to-back Western Confrence titles in 1997 and 1998, powered by the duo of Karl Malone and John Stockton.
