T-Pain (born Faheem Najm in Tallahassee, Florida in 1985) is an American hip-hop singer. He was previously a member of the five-man rap act known as Nappy Headz. In 2002 he founded his own label, Hard & B. T-Pain released his solo debut single, "I'm Sprung", in August 2005. His debut album, Rappa Turnt Sanga, is due for release on November 8, 2005. The "T" in T-Pain actually stands for Tallahassee (Florida). His song "I'm Sprung" is what he made for a girl that he knew when he was younger. On BET's 106 & Park he told audiences that the girl is now his wife.
