Simon Rex stars as the free-spirited boyfriend on the WB's What I Like About You opposite Amanda Bynes and Jennie Garth. Rex was first introduced to television audiences as an MTV vee-jay, interviewing some of the biggest personalities in film, television, and music, as well as performing in comedy sketches and making personal appearances all over the country. His television credits also include a memorable arc on the WB's Felicity where he played a sexy art student and Felicity's rebound fling. Simon made his series regular debut opposite Amanda Peet and Ivan Sergei in the WB's Jack and Jill. On the big screen, Simon appeared in the horror film The Forsaken and was seen in Unleashed opposite Jon Voight. Simon was born and raised in San Francisco's bohemian Mission District and began his career as a model at age 18, soon landing a print campaign for Tommy Hilfiger as his first big job. Honing a passion for comedy and improvisation, Simon has appeared on cable and television's Instant Comedy at the Groundlings and has performed stand-up in New York venues such as The Boston Comedy Club.
