The countdown is on for 'Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen,' in theaters and IMAX June 24, and only ET has the exclusive details on Shia LaBeouf’s hand injury, kissing Megan Fox — and the largest explosion in film history -- from Shia and Megan themselves! "It's the best action film you'll see this summer; it has the biggest explosions of any action film," Shia tells our own Mark Steines of the fireball that made the Guinness Book of World Records. "They told me about ten minutes before we did it. I'm looking at these canisters, just all this gas and I see about 40 of our special effects team way off to the side -- I mean way off." As for that headline-grabbing injury last year when Shia injured his hand in a car wreck, Shia says there was no choice but to write the injury into the movie's plot: "Yeah, I think it had to be, no other way to make [the] movie," he says, adding, "I just had another surgery about 10-11 days ago on it. Prognosis is solid, my doctor's really happy. I'm in good shape. This is the best it's been in a long time, so I feel good, things are really good." Publ.Date : Tue, 02 Jun 2009 20:39:56 -0400

Shia LaBeouf, Michael Bay, and Tyrese Gibson braved the crowds of screaming fans in L.A. at a special IMAX screening of 'Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen' trailer — and ET was there! Shia tells Mark Steines why he feels there is so much excitement surrounding the movie, which includes key sequences shot in IMAX. "It’s escapism," he says. "The movie is not overtly complicated. It wasn't built for extreme pontification or self exploration. It's built for fun and enjoyment and escapism. It's the only movie that I’ve ever been a part of where you can drive down the street and literally see decals of your movies on other cars." Publ.Date : Thu, 30 Apr 2009 08:47:54 -0400

In his first interview since his late-night Hollywood car crash in July that put him in the hospital, Shia LaBeouf tells ET's Mark Steines that the accident was "eye opening and terrifying." "The car hit me at 70mph," Shia says about the crash in which his truck flipped. "It was one of the biggest things that's happened to me, for sure, in my life." "I'm grateful to be here," he told Mark. His left hand is still in a semi-brace. Shia was talking with Mark to promote his new movie, 'Eagle Eye.' The 'Indiana Jones' star re-teams with his 'Disturbia' director D.J. Caruso for the high-tech film, in which he plays a man who, along with Michelle Monaghan, is forced to act as a pawn for a mysterious woman who seems to know their every move. As they get deeper and deeper into trouble, they must outwit their tormentor before her diabolical plot can be carried out. Based on an idea by Steven Spielberg, 'Eagle Eye' also stars Rosario Dawson, Michael Chiklis and Billy Bob Thornton. The new action-thriller hits theaters September 26. Shia's full interview will air on Monday's ET. Publ.Date : Sun, 14 Sep 2008 21:01:15 -0400
