Shannon Rae Bex is a member of the musical group, Danity Kane founded by P. Diddy, on the ABC/MTV reality show Making the Band. Danity Kane's album debuted August 22, 2006.

Shannon is the only married member of Danity Kane. She is also a former Portland Trailblazers dancer. She is of Scottish descent. Shannon was born March 22nd, 1980. Shannon is sometimes referred to as the mother of the group, due to her age (she is the oldest member of the group) and experience.

Shannon first enjoyed national attention as a contestant on the Reality TV series "Fame". It is there where she initially met Johnny Wright, the Music Manager for Danity Kane. She was runner up to winner, Harlemm Lee.
