Scout's film credits include: "Four Fingers of the Dragon" directed by Kevin Fukunaga. This is a comedic satire, behind-the-scenes look at how a fictional Kung-Fu movie is made. The film is basically a movie about the making of a movie. Scout plays herself auditioning for the movie. Chicken Night produced by Power Up Films, starring Ione Skye as Scout's mother. This film is Scout at her best, as she sings the theme song "Jet Set." This film was given an "exception to the deadline" for the 2002 Sundance Film Festival. Prior to this film Scout completed 7 Song, based on the life of a rock star. Chris Holmes of the Smashing Pumpkins created the soundtrack for this film.
Scout recently filmed the Men in Black II music video with Will Smith and his son Trey. You can catch her in the classroom with Trey. The song is called "Black Suits Coming'," or "Nod Your Head." Television credits include "Gilmore Girls," the W.B., as Clara, Dean's sister. She has also appeared on ER, Charmed, Ally McBeal, and has made several appearances on The Tonight Show.
Scout's voice over credits include "The Core", starring Hillary Swank, which she just completed in September 2002, with her pal Brie Larson. "I am Sam", starring Michelle Pfeiffer and Sean Penn. She also has a voice over credit for "Chicken Night", in fact - practically the whole movie is her voice. Commercial credits include Fuji Film, Disney Cruise Line, Disney Channel Toon, Tenet Hospital, and Edison International.
Scout made her stage debut August through November of 2000 in Annie and Annie Warbucks at The Grove Theatre in Upland, California, owned by the Sam Kinison Family. Most recently she completed a summer run of Footloose at the Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center. They liked her so much, she has been asked back next summer for Music Man.
Training has included private acting lessons with Dennis LaValle, Gary Spatz, Kevin McDermott, and vocal with Diane Gillespie and Vocal Power Institute. Scout has also recently begun guitar and keyboard lessons, and is a member of a local theatre group called "Shenanigans," where she performs and takes weekly tap and jazz lessons.
In her spare time Scout enjoys spending time with her grandma, swimming, softball, volleyball, cheerleading, dance, gymnastics and roller-blading. You can most often find her playing with her three cats, Sprocket, Jordan, Baby, and her dog, Bear. After an interview with Ron Howard for a part in his feature film, "The Grinch," Scout realized that her acting career is but a stepping-stone to her goal of becoming a director.
