San Antonio Spurs

The National Basketball Association's franchise in San Antonio, Texas, USA, the Spurs were founded in 1967 in the ABA. They were one of four ABA teams to join the NBA in 1976. They have won NBA Championships in 1999, 2003 and 2005. Hall Of Famers to play on the Spurs include George Gervin and Moses Malone. Other notable Spurs players have included Tim Duncan, David Robinson, Manu Ginobili, Tony Parker, Sean Elliott and James Silas.
