Kristen Stewart sits down with ET’s Samantha Harris and talks about everything from how Rob Pattinson and Taylor Lautner are different, to commenting on rumors that she and Rob are dating offscreen. Kristen tells Samantha about those who ask whether she and Rob are an item: "The only way that I'm able to stay sane is to protect myself, and like, I know that it doesn't matter how you answer a question, it's going to tip. Someone's going to say, 'She's totally with him,' or, 'No, I don't think she is,' so it's sort of like, I don't care. You just have to seriously be like, have it, have it all. Take my, you know what I mean, just like, you want my shoes? Here you go, what size do you wear?" She also explains how Rob and Taylor are different in real life, "I mean, they're just completely different guys. I mean, Taylor's like really happy-go-lucky. He's really light and actually that sort of mirrors, that's how Jacob is too. He's always smiling and he's sort of ... he's just a really good guy." Publ.Date : Wed, 11 Nov 2009 04:06:42 -0500

'The Twilight Saga: New Moon' director Chris Weitz sits down with ET to tell all about his experience making the film, and also shed light on a bond between Kristen Stewart and Rob Pattinson. He tells ET that after Stewart and Pattinson’s fame exploded following 2008's 'Twilight,' they perhaps understand each other. "I think that they're the only two who know what it's like to go through what they're going through as people right now, to be at the receiving end of that much attention," he says, continuing, "And their characters in the movie are the only two who know what's going on, the rest of the world is kind of unaware of this forbidden romance between human and a vampire, so I suppose there's kind of an analogy there, where there's a conspiracy, you know, going on." Weitz was brought in to direct 'New Moon' after Catherine Hardwicke had directed 'Twilight,' the first film in the franchise, and tells ET's Samantha Harris about how he first approached the established cast. "I had to do it with a bit of humility," he says, "Because you know, I hadn't assembled them, they were already there, and so my sort of first job was to listen to them, see how they felt about their characters, how they felt about the book, and to kind of get into a dialogue with them." Kellan Lutz, who plays Rob Pattinson’s on-screen brother in the 'Twilight' franchise, talks to ET about his relationship status, whether he can bench-press more than co-star Taylor Lautner, and why he gets mistaken for a bank robber when he's out in public. Answering the question on the minds of legions of fans, Kellan says that he's "very single." He explains, "I'm just very busy right now. ... I am a relationship guy, I like being in a relationship, just don't have time." He tells ET's Samantha Harris that the main woman in his life is his pet pooch, and expresses regret that he couldn't bring her to the set of 'The Twilight Saga: New Moon' in Vancouver, Canada, due to international regulations. He also tells Samantha that he can "definitely" bench press more than his co-star Taylor, who famously bulked up for 'The Twilight Saga: New Moon,' which hits theaters this Friday. He says that he's proud of Taylor for going the extra mile to play Jacob Black: "I was very proud of him. ... Taylor went from a boy to a man and I know a lot of that deals with growing up — from 16 to 17 you get that growth spurt -- but then again, he was fighting for his job in a way, and the studio didn't pay people to train him or to keep him on a high calorie diet. He did that on his own, he fought for his role and he proved that he can be this manly Jacob." Publ.Date : Wed, 18 Nov 2009 04:54:19 -0500
