Ryan Hansen is an American actor who earned fame for his portrayal Dick Casablancas on Veronica Mars. Born and raised in San Diego, California, the son of a pastor, Hansen began acting with guest starring roles on series such as Grounded for Life and Las Vegas.

In 2004, Hansen auditioned for the role of Duncan Kane on Veronica Mars but lost out to Teddy Dunn. Hansen instead took the recurring role of Dick Casablancas. In the second season, he became a main cast member of the show.

Hansen has regularly worked on missions in Africa helping the Invisible Children organization. The mission is to end a long running Civil War where the children of Uganda are used as the primary soldiers.

Hansen is also a dancer and can be seen in the upcoming Global Night Commute music video that will raise awareness for the aforementioned Invisible Children. He is also involved with San Diego's Christian Youth Theater.
