Raica (pronounced Hi-KA) has two brothers: Givago (economist) and Pablo (lawyer) and she is currently living with her mother in New York. Shortly after winning 2nd place at the Elite Model Look International Final in 1999, Raica was christened "The sensation" at the fall fashion shows in Paris and Milan. This 17 year-old stunner managed to emerge as one of the most talked about models of the season alongside fellow Elite stars Adriana Lima, Maggie Rizer, Oluchi and Karen Elson. She was featured in a Christian Dior campaign that appeared in Vogue, Vanity Fair Cosmopolitan, Glamour, Mademoiselle, and other fashion magazines. She was also featured in a Dolce & Gabbana parfums campaign. In 2006 Raica was unveiled as a spokesmodel for the cosmetics company Lancome and fashion laicence Punto Blanco. She has never actually worked for Victoria's Secret. Raica is expected to be one of the more productive brazilian supermodels in the year 2007 after sizzeling with Gisele Bundchen on the Rio Fashion Week. Raica`shas joined the ranks of the supermodels charging over US$ 20-thousand euros (16.6-thousand) to step out for TNG. In the February 2007 she appeared in Sports Illustrated.
