After moving to Los Angeles, White quickly amassed a list of credits. She has appeared in various independent films, including "Red Letters," "Blood Dolls" and "The Fall of Night." Her television work includes guest-starring roles in "Angel," "NYPD Blue," "Brooklyn South," "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," "The Burning Zone," "Malcolm & Eddie," "The Client" and "Clueless." She also starred in the television movies "Operation Sandman," opposite Ron Perlman, and "Suddenly," opposite Kirstie Alley.
In addition to acting, White is a singer-musician-songwriter-pro tools engineer. Recently she collaborated musically with recording artist Tricky. She has also worked with Dominique Miller, members of Pink Floyd, and The Go Gos. She has written and recorded music for three independent films. Currently, White performs with her band, XEO3, and is working on her first album, which she describes as a cross between Marilyn Manson and Portis Head.
She is an animal rights activist and like her character, is a vegan. She spends a great deal of time working with groups like PETA, Farm Sanctuary and HSUS. Recently, White started a youth outreach program to help raise awareness and educate children about factory farming, the environment, health and compassion.
White has been honored by PETA as a "2005 Humanitarian of the Year."
