A Mexican-American boxer, Oscar de la Hoya first earned fame as an Olympic Gold medal winner. After turning pro, Oscar de la Hoya became one of the sports all-time greats, voted the "Fighter Of The Year" by Ring Magazine in 1995. De la Hoya released a self-titled CD of Latin Pop music, which earned him a Grammy nomination in 2000. Other ventures include TV producing, a clothing line and real estaet.
