Nina attended Wexford Collegiate, school for the arts in Toronto until her graduating year. She has recently just started her post secondary studies at Ryerson University in Toronto, majoring in Sociology. Because of intense filming schedules, she tries to maintain a fair balance with her school. Nina attended the Dean Armstrong Acting school where she was discovered by many different talent agencies in Toronto. Technically, she only started acting about two years ago. Nina just attended her first red carpet event at the film festival. Etalk did an exclusive on her pertaining to her accomplishments as an actress. On October 19, 2007, Nina appeared with some of her castmates on Me to We Day in the Ricoh Coliseum. She spoke to more than 7,000 students from across Canada
