Despite their status as baseball's redheaded stepchildren, the Expos were once a great team. Well, twice, really. In late 70s and early 80s, the Gary Carter, Andre Dawson and Tim Raines teams were some of the finest in baseball. The 1994 team featuring Pedro Martinez, Larry Walker and John Wetteland was an incredible team that had World Series written all over it. But then the strike happened and Montreal baseball has never recovered.
