Rhona Mitra Biography
Having arrived in the United States from the U.K. only a short time ago, Rhona Mitra is fast becoming one of today's most sought-after young actresses. Mitra, who sizzled on the big screen opposite Kevin Spacey in Universal Pictures The Life of David Gale, recently returned from Bulgaria where she was filming USA's epic mini-series Spartacus. Mitra can currently be seen portraying Tara Wilson on ABC's The Practice.
Mitra's previous film credits include the romantic comedy Sweet Home Alabama for Disney, Paul Verhoeven's Hollow Man and Get Carter for Warner Bros. Mitra, along with Andre Braugher and Ruben Blades, starred in the critically acclaimed ABC series Gideon's Crossing. She was also a series regular on the hit FOX series Party of Five and on the BBC mini-series The Man Who Made Husbands Jealous.
Mitra, who studied acting at a school in London founded by Judi Dench, was cast in several theatrical productions before relocating to the States.
