Michael Michele Biography


Michael Michele appeared in the romantic comedy "How to Lose A Guy In Ten Days," co-starring alongside Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey, and starred opposite Kurt Russell in "Dark Blue." Her additional film credits include "Ali," "The Sixth Man," "New Jack City" and "The Substitute 2."

On television, Michele starred as Dr. Cleo Finch for three seasons in "E.R.," for which she received an NAACP Image Award nomination for Outstanding Actress in a Drama Series in 2000. Prior to joining the cast of "E.R.," she was a series regular on critically acclaimed series "Homicide: Life on the Street," for which she also received an NAACP Image Award nomination for Outstanding Actress in a Drama Series in 1999. Her other television credits include "Central Park West" and "New York Undercover."

A devoted mentor since she was a teenager, Michele is founder of The Roundtable Chitchat Foundation, a nonprofit mentoring organization which strives to bridge the relationships of young women with adult mentors and guide them towards realizing their potential.
