Since joining the cast of Dawson's Creek, Meredith Monroe has established herself as one of Hollywood's newest rising stars. In her first season on Dawson's Creek, Monroe played troubled young teen Andie McPhee. Monroe began working in television doing guest spots on several shows, including Magnificent 7, Players and Promised Land, before landing the title role in Beyond the Prairie: The Laura Ingalls Story.

Monroe also appeared with Richard Thomas and Lindsay Crouse in the CBS television movie, "Beyond the Prairie: The True Story of Laura Ingalls Wilder." Monroe portrayed Laura, the beloved author of the Little House book series.

In film, Monroe stars as the lead in the teen romance, Full Ride, directed by Mark Hoeger and written by Dan Winslow and George Mills. Following Full Ride, Monroe also recently wrapped production in writer/director Jay Craven's independent feature, The Year That Trembled.
