Starting this year off with a bang, Melissa Keller graces the pages of the 2002 Sport's Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. The much anticipated issue hit the stands Wednesday, February 20th and marks her first appearance in the heavily sought after edition. The images, shot by famed S.I. photographer Walter Ioos, feature Melissa playfully posing in the exotic locations of Brazil.
Melissa started modelling at 15 years old in her hometown of Minneapolis, Minnesota after her father took a snap shot of her into a local agency as a last ditch effort to reform his teen punk daughter. Quickly, she was swept up into the modelling world. Her youthful wild side helped her appear in every major fashion magazine in the world and in major advertising campaigns for Parasuco Jeans, The GAP, and Noxema all before the age of 19.
Now living in New York City, Melissa has grown into a young woman, she has grown more beautiful and much more wild. This uninhibited and sexy style keeps her loved by fashion photographers across the world, including Terry Richardson, Troy Word, Antoine Verglas, Albert Watson and Patrick Shaw.
Melissa continued her "Rock On!" battle cry as she blasted into 2001 with national advertising campaigns for Revlon Cosmetics, Loreal, and Aveda. Sealing off the year by being one of the "50 Most Beautiful Models" by Tearsheet Magazine.
