Born Maximilian Carlo Martini in Woodstock, New York, Martini is a citizen of not only the United States, but also of Canada and Italy. Martini attended the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan and receiving a BFA in painting and sculpture. After completing college Martini began to work steadily in both film and television projects.

Martini's film credits include Paramedics, Repossessed, Pictures of Baby Jane Doe, Contact, Conversations in Limbo, Saving Private Ryan, Cement, Desert Son, Tail Lights Fade, Backroads, and The Great Raid.

Martini has appeared in the television movies Bret Maverick, The Glitter Dome, Hero in the Family, Vendetta, Vendetta: Secrets of a Mafia Bride, Mutiny, Harsh Realm, Love Lessons, Another Day, Try to Remember, Caught in the Act, and Silver Bells.

Martini has also appeared with series regular roles in The Unit, Breaking News, Level 9, and Harsh Realm.
