Mary Oyaya has been pursuing her goal to become an international and worldly person since childhood. She was born in the coastal town of Mombasa in Kenya, Africa. Mary has lived in several diverse areas of the globe: Africa, Canada, Sweden and Australia.

Mary has received two Masters Degrees, in International Relations and International Social Development. She always aspired to work for the United Nations like her parents, who were diplomats for many years. Mary also has worked with refugees in Australia for several NGOs.

While Mary pursued her studies in International Relations, she also enrolled in a modeling course. Her modeling career began in 1996 after she successfully completed a course in screen acting. Mary has been featured in fashion magazines such as ‘CAT’ and ‘S’, where she has advertised sunglasses from Salvatore Ferragamo and Gucci, jewelry from Chanel and Jan Logan, and footwear from Sergio Rossi
