EL PASO -- Celtic Woman started out as a made-for-TV group with four women with lovely voices and another who dances and fiddles up a storm.

Bells rang, mist rose from the ground and the fiddler for Celtic Woman, Mairead Nesbitt, began to play. The four vocalists, Chloe Agnew, Lynn Hilary, Lisa Kelly and Alex Sharpe took the stage.

As Alex Sharpe sees it, the timing for the Celtic Woman's "Isle of Hope" tour couldn't be much better. Celtic Woman Isle of Hope Concert will be staged at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Stranahan Theater, 4645 Heatherdowns Blvd. The musical ensemble is made up of five Irish female artists, vocalists Chloe Agnew, Lynn Hilary, Lisa Kelly, and Alex Sharpe and fiddler Mairead Nesbitt.
