An American soccer club, Los Angeles Galaxy was founded in 1995. They won the MLS in 2002, 2005 and won the US Open Cup in 2001 and 2005. They won the CONCACAF Champions Cup in 2000. Their fiercest rivals are fellow L.A. side Chivas USA and fellow California club San Jose Earthquakes.
