Liz Cho joined Eyewitness News in 2003, after several years with ABCNEWS. She joined the network in January of 1999 as a correspondent for NewsOne, ABC'S affiliate news service. She served as a New York-based co-anchor of ABCNEWS' overnight show, "World News Now."
From January 1999 to February 2000, Ms. Cho worked out of Chicago reporting for NewsOne on several major news stories, including President Clinton's impeachment trial, and Texas Gov. George W. Bush's presidential campaign.
Previously, she was a reporter in Miami, Fla. for WPLG-TV, where she covered a variety of state and local issues. In 1998 she was nominated for a Florida state Emmy award for a report on the National Everglades.
Prior to joining WPLG-TV, Cho was an assignment editor and producer for New England Cable News in Newton, Mass
