Lisa Vidal was born on June 13, 1965 in New York City and is an actress of Puerto Rican descent. Lisa's parents emigrated from Puerto Rico and settled in Manhattan, New York, where Lisa and her two sisters Christina and Tanya were born. After Lisa finished her elementary education, she auditioned and was accepted in the High School of Performing Arts. When she graduated, Lisa went to work with La Familia Theater Company, alongside Raul Julia and Julia Roberts. Lisa was 14 years old when she acted in the theater series "Oye Willie" and later on made her feature debut with a small role in "Delivery Boys". Soon, she was working in T.V. with parts in shows such as "The Cosby Show".

From 1994-1995, Lisa worked in New York Undercover as a police officer named "Carmen"". In 1995, she did some Off-Broadway and worked in Commish. Among the other series she has worked in are: "The Brian Benben Show" from 1998-99 as "Julie"; "Third Watch" from 1999-2001 as "Sarah Morales" ; "ER" from 2001-2004 as "Sandy Lopez". Lisa had starring roles in "High Incident" and "The Division", for which she received the 2002 nomination for the Alma Award in the Best Actress Category.

Vidal's film credits include "Naughty or Nice", "Chasing Papi", "I Like It Like That", "The Wonderful Ice Cream Suit", and "Night and the City".

Vidal also starred in HBO's "Blue Diner".
