Born in Isleworth, England, one of Lee's earliest stage roles was as Doctor Grimwig in the musical OLIVER at high school. He later attended Hammersmith & West London College where he studied for both a Btec First Diploma in Performing Arts, and a Btec National Diploma in Performing Arts from which he was also awarded a special achievement award. Lee then went on to Amersham & Wycombe College where he obtained a Higher National Diploma in Music / Theatre (Performing Arts). It was during this time that Lee performed in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and wrote and directed his first short play. A sequel short play was produced two years later. Lee has also taken acting classes at RADA, Pinewood Film Studios, London Actors Workshop, and the Theatre Royal Haymarket where he has learned from the likes of Jeremy Irons, Steven Pimlott, Imelda Staunton, Jane Krakowski, Kwame Kwei-Armah, Anita Dobson, Meera Syal and Claire Higgins. Lee has had coaching from LA coaches Elisa Eliot and Art Wolfe who has worked with the likes of Sean Penn, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Steve Martin, Bonnie Hunt and Dakota Fanning. His London coaches include John Melainey and Mel Churcher who worked on Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, King Arthur and The Fifth Element.
