Lauren attended the University of Southern California and majored in history. She attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London.
She previously starred on the daytime serial Sunset Beach as Sarah Cummings and had a recurring role on Port Charles.
Lauren Woodland joined the cast of The Young and The Restless in March of 2000 as Brittany Hodges. She received her first Daytime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series in 2004.
Lauren's other television series credits include starring roles in Alien Nation and The Dom DeLuise Show. She had recurring roles in Encore! Encore! with Nathan Lane, Brooklyn Bridge and Brotherly Love.
She has guest starred on the television series L.A. Law, Quantum Leap, as well as the telefilms Teenage Confidential, Bloodlines Murder, Willing To Kill, The Last To Go, When You Remember Me, Family Of Spies and An Enemy Among Us.
Lauren starred in the feature films The Doorway, Cover Up, Frame Up, Rock-A-Die-Baby, Super Star and The 11th Commandment.
