FOR JORDAN FANS ONLY PLEASE~ Ok, here's my new karaoke/instrumental version i made of jordan mccoy's song "big girls don't cry." my old one was kinda bad so i hope u like this one. Jordan McCoy is a young, talented singer who begun on the show American Juniors. Although she didn't make it into the band, her talent has been recognized and she's been signed with Bad Boy Records. I'm not exactly sure when her album's coming out but it keeps getting pushed back. She was also considered for the role of Disney Channel's Hannah Montana, but Miley Cyrus earned the job. Check out her channel, JordanMccoyTV. As you may know, in 2006 Jordan McCoy had recorded this song, co-written by Fergie and sold to Jordan's label Bad Boy Records, but right after she recorded it Fergie had a change of heart and recorded her own version for her album. Jordan & bad boy records were kinda disappointed, but has gotten over it and no legal actions have been taken since Fergie partially owns it. This is Jordan's version of the song which I decided to try to make a karaoke of. no copyright infringement intended. In 2006, the song Big Girls Don't Cry by Fergie was sold to Bad Boy Records where it was handed to Jordan McCoy. McCoy's team felt they had a huge hit on their hands and quickly recorded the song, assuring Fergie and her management that they were going to release it as a single. However, according to McCoy, after Fergie heard their finished version, she had a change of heart and recorded the song as well. Without the knowledge of Bad Boy Records, Fergie went ahead and tagged it on to her album at the last minute. Jordan and her team were upset by Fergie's decision, and scrapped the entire project and considered suing Fergie. However, because Fergie was a co-writer of the song, nothing could be done about it. Jordan McCoy was on the American Idol spin-off American Juniors in the summer of 2003. This is Jordan's Top 20 interview where she describes what role she'd play as part of The American Juniors Band. Although Jordan went on to make the top 10 and was on for the entire summer of '03 she did not make the band. This, however was a blessing in disguise. Due to lack of promotion The American Juniors never did well but soon after the show ended Jordan was signed by independent label Clockwork Entertainment. It was through them that she met Diddy of Bad Boy Worldwide who wanted to meet her. He asked her to sing and dance for him and after seeing her perform he signed her on the spot. Jordan will begin touring with Diddy this summer [07] and will be releasing her first single, "Just Watch Me." You can watch for her album to hit stores on August 21.
