An American actor, John Ratzenberger is best known for his role as Cliff Claven on "Cheers." He has lent his voice to such animated films as "Finding Nemo", "The Incredibles", "Cars" and "Ratatouille."
Ratzenberger had a pre-"Cheers" role in "Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back." His character, Major Bren Derlin, is a Rebel Alliance officer at the Hoth Rebel Base toward the beginning of the film. He speaks one line.
