Jay Kenneth Johnson left his home state of Missouri for California, and landed his first notable role in the daytime soap The Young and the Restless just weeks after arriving in Los Angeles. He jumped to the soap Days of our Lives, where his character inspired the passionate adoration of fans. When he left the soap, fans hired a hired a plane to fly over the NBC studios carrying a banner wishing him Good Luck. He also appeared on the TV show Hotel before appearing as Chris on North Shore.
