An American singer, Jason Castro earned fame by making the top 24 on the 7th season of
American Idol.
Hooks catcher Jason Castro was not in the lineup on Friday after leaving the previous night’s game with a sore left knee. Castro was hurt when a foul bunt went off the knee during the seventh inning on Thursday. He tried to stay in the game, but was lifted one pitch later.
