Janice Dickinson Biography

She claims that she coined the term supermodel, and whether she did or not, there's no doubt that Janice Dickinson once embodied the word. As you'll see in Janice Dickinson: The E! True Hollywood Story, she took the fashion world by storm in the 1970s, appearing on seemingly every magazine cover--when she wasn't on the arm of a movie star.

She was living the high life, all right, and when she wasn't on the runway, Dickinson was in the studio: Studio 54. Her life was a whirlwind of jet-setting jobs and all-night parties that she experienced through a haze of booze and cocaine.

Her hard-charging lifestyle eventually led her to fall out of favor in the fashion world, but Janice Dickinson didn't fall apart.

Through it all, Dickinson has been linked to several of the world's biggest stars: Warren Beatty. Mick Jagger. The list goes on. It took becoming a mother to finally settle her down--at least a little.

Today, Dickinson remains a diva, and she gets to show her attitude to millions of fans on America's Next Top Model, where her brutally honest judging helps select the models who will try to follow in her footsteps. She's not shy about turning to science to help maintain her looks, either; she says she wants to leave this world as "the best-looking corpse that ever lived."
