An American actor, J. August Richards is best known for his role as Charles Gunn on the popular TV series "Angel." His other TV credits include "Conviction" and "Undressed." His film credits include "Good Burger", "Why Do Fools Fall In Love" and "Paved with Good Intentions."
Says that his mother didn't want him to become an actor; instead, she had hopes of him becoming a lawyer or a priest. In the final season of Angel, Gunn got a special brain spell and became a top Wolfram & Hart lawyer.
