Ivan Sergei is best known to television audiences as David Jill Jillefsky on the series Jack and Jill opposite Amanda Peet. Filmgoers will remember his performance as Matt Mateo in The Opposite of Sex, the object of Christina Ricci's seduction. Born and raised in New Jersey, Sergei's big break came when he was cast as Huero, a troubled student in Touchstone Pictures' film Dangerous Minds starring Michelle Pfeiffer. In addition to Jack and Jill, Sergei's work on television includes starring in the television movie and ensuing syndicated series, and John Woo's Once a Thief. Other television movies include Mother, May I Sleep with Danger and if Someone Had Known. Sergei has also guest starred on many series including Touched By an Angel, Cybill and Party of Five.
