Best known for creating some of television's most memorable characters, four-time Golden Globe nominee Heather Locklear has enjoyed a prolific career in both television and film.

Locklear co-starred with Brittany Murphy and Dakota Fanning in the feature film Uptown Girls. Recently she starred opposite Michael J. Fox on the ABC hit comedy Spin City. Previously Locklear starred as Amanda Woodward on the Fox cornerstone series Melrose Place. Her additional television credits include starring roles in Joel Silver's Double Tap, opposite Stephen Rea; the critically acclaimed telefilm Shattered Mind, directed by Stephen Gyllenhall; and the highly rated mini-series Texas Justice.

Her additional feature film credits include The First Wives Club and Money Talks.

Well known for her concurrent starring roles in two popular dramas, Dynasty and TJ Hooker, Locklear began her acting career appearing in television commercials while attending UCLA.

Locklear resides in Los Angeles with her husband, Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora, and their daughter Ava. Over the years, Locklear has lent her time and support to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, the American Suicide Foundation, and many other worthwhile charitable organizations.
