Gorillaz is a virtual band that consists of four animated band members: 2D on vocals and keyboard, Murdoc on bass, Noodle on guitar and vocals, and Russel on drums and percussion. They play a variety of music styles, including everything from rap to punk to heavy metal. They were created by Damon Albarn from the Britpop band Blur, and Jamie Hewlett, the creator of the comic book Tank Girl.
