Golden State Warriors

The National Basketball Association's franchise in Oakland, California, USA, the Warriors were founded in 1946. They started life in Philadelphia (1946-1962), moved to San Francisco (1962-1971) and became the Golden State Warriors in 1971. The team won NBA Championships in 1947, 1956 and 1975. Hall Of Famers who have played for the Warriors include Paul Arizin, Rick Barry, Wilt Chamberlain, Joe Fulks, Tom Gola, Neil Johnston, Jerry Lucas, Robert Parish, Andy Phillip and Nate Thurmond.
