Finesse Mitchell was born on June 12, 1972 and was raised in Atlanta, Georgia. Mitchell is a graduate of the University of Miami. Mitchell joined the cast of Saturday Night Live in 2003.

Mitchell has performed as excitable "Starkeisha" as well as impressions of Outkast’s Andre 3000, OJ Simpson, Bobby Brown, Kobe Bryant, as well as Star Jones’ husband Al Reynolds.

Mitchell has appeared on NBC’s "Late Night with Conan O’Brien" and has made regular appearances on BET’s "Comic View". He performs in college campuses across the country and in America’s hottest comedy clubs including the Miami Improv, The Punchline and Chris Tucker’s Comedy Café in Atlanta as well as Los Angeles’ Hollywood Improv, The Comedy Store and The Laugh Factory.
