Eva LaRue originally joined the cast of All My Children in March, 1993, as Dr. Maria Santos, a young top-flight neurologist. Pine Valley mourned Maria's untimely yet presumed death in a plane crash in 1997. Maria recently returned but, with no memory of her past life.

Ms. LaRue's television credits include recurring guest-starring roles on Third Watch and Soul Food. She also starred in leading roles in Head Over Heals, Danielle Steel's Remembrance, and had the title role in A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes: The Annette Funicello Story. Her feature film credits include Hell of a Guy, starring opposite Rob Lowe and Michael York, RoboCop 3, Heart Condition and Crash and Burn. Ms. La Rue also co-hosted The New Candid Camera with Dom DeLuise, World's Funniest Videos and Weddings of a Lifetime, with her husband John Callahan. Ms. La Rue has recently released her first CD entitled Only You, which is sold exclusively on www.evalarue.com.

Eva LaRue married John Callahan in 1996, several years after their on-screen All My Children characters wed. They're the proud parents of daughter Kaya McKenna.
