A highly skilled contractor and a talented performer, Chicago native Eric Stromer has found a way to combine both his passions as one of the stars of the popular home improvement series ?Clean Sweep.? Now he?s traveling to towns all across America to help grant wishes of all kinds for deserving people in NBC?s ?Three Wishes.? The handsome home builder, who was recently featured in People magazine?s Sexiest Man Alive issue, was born and raised in Evanston, Illinois. Stromer grew up enjoying both sports and drama, excelling in track and football and participating in local talent shows. He worked in construction for four years while attending the University of Colorado, laying the foundation for his future career.

After graduation, Stromer moved to Los Angeles and began remodeling houses, quickly making a name for himself with his eye for design, attention to detail and impressive craftsmanship. In 1993, he started his own company ? Big House Construction.

In addition to his successful home remodeling business, Stromer is also an accomplished singer-songwriter who has written and performed music for ?The Drew Carey Showtime Special,? Christopher Walken?s film ?The Wild Side? and numerous television shows. Stromer has also produced, scored and starred in ?The Acting Thing,? a comedy short that premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and won top honors at the Houston Film Festival for Best Comedy Short.
