Eric Benet became famous when his single "Spend My Life With You" hit the charts in 1999. The song, featuring Tamia, came from his second solo album "A Day in the Life" which went on to win "Best R&B/Soul Album Male" at the Soul Train Music Awards. Benet has continued his music and also ventured into acting appearing in the film "Glitter", and on the series "For Your Love" and "Half & Half".
