A rising young actress whose made her mark in a number of films, Emily Browning landed the big role of Violet in Lemony Snicket after submitting a video audition. The young Aussie then flew to the USA and auditioned directly for Brad Silberling, and the part was hers. With her performance in Snicket and her roles in Darkness Falls, Ned Kelly and Ghost Ship, Emily has established herself as a rising young actress in the mold of a younger Scarlett Johansson.
