Blunt made her theatrical debut portraying Gwen Cavendish opposite Dame Judi Dench in Sir Peter Hall's highly acclaimed production of "The Royal Family" at Haymarket Theatre in 2001, which won her a coveted nomination for Best Newcomer.
She went on to play Eugenie Loyer in the National Theatre's award-winning production of "Vincent in Brixton," directed by Sir Richard Eyre, and Juliet in "Romeo and Juliet" at the prestigious Chichester Festival in 2002.
Blunt recently co-starred with Paddy Considine in the dramatic feature film, "My Summer of Love," and is currently in Australia filming "Irresistible" with Susan Sarandon.
One of four children born to a teacher mother and barrister father, Blunt resides in her hometown of London. A versatile performer who enjoys music, her talents include singing and playing the cello. She is also athletic and skilled at horseback riding.
