Elizabeth Mitchell starred as Teresa Earnhardt, wife of the late NASCAR racing legend Dale Earnhardt, in the ESPN original movie 3: The Dale Earnhardt Story. Her breakthrough performance was in the TV movie Gia, in which she starred opposite Angelina Jolie for HBO. Many remember her from the 2000 dramatic thriller Frequency or for her comedic turn in Nurse Betty. She followed up that performance with another comedic role, starring opposite Tim Allen in The Santa Clause 2. Some of her notable TV credits include ER in which she recurred as Dr. Lagaspi and most recently as one of the leads in NBC's The Lyon's Den.
