From one "hot" spot to another. That's the way WSVN 7 News Weather Anchor, Elita Loresca describes her big move from Fresno, California to Miami. After delivering the weekday forecasts on KGPE 47 News in Fresno for two years, she decided to make the jump to the Sunshine State.

A graduate of the Broadcast Journalism Program at Cal State Fullerton, Elita is currently completing her Certificate of Meteorology at Mississippi State University.

Elita started her broadcasting career in 2000 as a Noon weather anchor and served as a weeknight assignment editor at KGET-TV, the NBC affiliate in Bakersfield, CA.
