Demi Lovato was born in Dallas, Texas. She started acting at the age of 10, when she landed her first series regular role as Angela on Barney & Friends. As time went on Lovato pursuited her singing and instrumental career and wasn't acting but, recently, Lovato has been a guest star on Prison Break, Split Ends and Just Jordan. In January of 2007 Lovato landed a series regular role on the new Disney Channel original short series, As the Bell Rings as Charlotte, which premiered on August 26, 2007 during Disney's back to school special night. Lovato is currently in production in the starring role as Mitchie Torres for a new Disney Channel Original Movie, called Camp Rock which also stars the Jonas Brothers. It is set to premiere in 2008. Lovato is also a accomplished singer/songwriter as well as an accomplished musician, playing guitar and piano since the age of eleven.
