David Hewlett is famous for his series regular roles on "Traders", "Kung-Fu: The Legend Continues", and "Stargate: Atlantis". Hewlett also appeared with guest roles on "The District", "Without a Trace", and "ER". His film credits include "Cube", "Foolproof", "Cypher", and "Chasing Cain".
Hewlett originally appeared as Rodney McKay with a recurring role on "Stargate SG-1". When it's spin-off "Stargate Atlantis" was being cast, Hewlett was brought in to read for another role, but it was later decided that he should return as McKay.
