One of the all-time great rock musicians, also famous as an actor, David Bowie crafted and performed some of classic tunes including "Changes", "Ziggy Stardust", "Space Oddity" and many, many more. David also participated in some great collaborations such as "Under Pressure" with Queen and "Little Drummer Boy" with Bing Crosby. His film acting credits include memorable roles in "Labyrinth", "The Last Temptation of Christ" and "The Man Who Fell to Earth."
David's birthname was David Robert Hayward-Jones. He used the name David Bowie to avoid confusion with the then well-known Davy Jones, lead singer of the Monkees.
