Courtney Friel (born April 22, 1980) is an American entertainment reporter for the Fox News Channel. Currently, she contributes to a number of different entertainment related programs for the network's website, FoxNews.com. She was hired by the network on February 16, 2007[1], making her first appearance on February 17, 2007 as a panelist to discuss Anna Nicole Smith on Hannity & Colmes.

Friel is also known for hosting the World Poker Tour on the Travel Channel. She replaced Shana Hiatt as host of WPT for its fourth season. She was also a co-host on GameStop/EB Games's EBtv, however after a three year run left the show with a final goodbye to fans in the March 2007 episode.

A Philadelphia native, Friel holds a B.A. in political science and a minor in broadcast journalism from San Diego State University. Courtney has previously hosted a variety of programs including E! Entertainment, Nickelodeon and Oxygen. She also appeared in the March 2006 issue of FHM.

She also held an anchor position on WBBJ's evening broadcasts for a short time, around 2003, after spending some time as a reporter.

In late 2003, Friel placed fourth runner-up in the Miss Tennessee USA 2004 pageant, which was won by Stephanie Culberson.
